IBM Model M Mechanical Clicky Keyboard P/N 1391401 w/PS/2 Cable (eBay)

Buy It Now – $225.00, or Best Offer!

That's right, the most common type of Model M ever—IBM made millions of them. And this one's from 1992, so it's not even an early example.

It does look clean, but the buyer hasn't bothered to include ANY description (it probably works...) or even bothered to unwrap the cable (is that attractive or what?).

Okay, this isn't exactly a "Great Find". But what is it with people like this? And why are there so many of them? Are they just dangling lines in the water, to see if anyone's gullible enough to bite?

And does anyone actually buy these wackily overpriced boards? If so, they have no one but themselves to blame for their lack of research—but you can't help feeling a little sorry for them, can you?

Ander my friend, do you know what the value of anything and everything is?

Whatever a fool wants to give for it. You can't blame them for trying ;P .

I agree. I think that starting at a silly high price and dropping 10% per week until you sell is a pretty good technique.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

That would make sense, if that's what they're doing... I've never watched any of these long enough to find out.
