Anyone know if these will be coming back to massdrop or any where else? I missed the boat on that one... D:

It really depends. You are better off asking the creator of the set, as not all sets get remade.

I think he said on massdrop that he will do round 2 with more support for other keyboards like planck.

Lately Signature Plastics has been releasing extras of each set from the GBs they do. So keep an eye out http://pimpmykeyboard.com/keysets/ for any extras, perhaps by the end of November they will have them out.  :thumb:

They also send out an email letting people know as well

Livingspeedbump said there would be a round two on r/mk once pics of the first sets started showing up. I was glad to hear that because I didn't get into the mech hobby till after this buy happened. The sets I've seen look so good. I'll definitely pick up a set next go.

I'm not sure IIRC but I think livingspeedbump was considering a round 2 - I think it's probably quite a way off and is a big maybe

Hey!

So yes, I will be running the set again sooner than later  :thumb: Before the end of the year, or very early next year.

Jukebox was actually the first SA set run on MD, and I've helped with qutie a few since, so now we have a much better idea of what kits are needed, etc. For example, Planck and ErgoDox kits are already added for the next drop, as well as support for Leopold/75% and a few other odd layouts.

I'm definitely not into making a set hard to get or intentionally rare, so please don't go paying any crazy prices for this set! Hopefully the next run will be even cheaper if more people buy it!

Yay!

I've never understood the artificial scarcity arguments. "Special edition", "one run only" and so forth. It's just annoying the masses while pandering to the few.

I understand that if you set out to make a one-run set from the beginning to mark some special occasion, or do something as a team, etc, but general sets are nice to make available every so often for new members to have a chance to get :D

Also, I will open up the IC again for a short period of time, just for general feedback on the new kits and to double check to make sure i didnt miss any particular keys that are needed. Obviously, colors, profile, etc wont be up for discussion haha.

Are you going to wait for the Row 4 shifts or just stick with R3?

Wait times had nothing to do with Massdrop it was all to do with Signature Plastics getting it made

Yeah wait time is all SP's deal, next drop will likely have a comparable wait time. All the best stuff does ;)

I know there were less than 10 total base sets. I didn't really know many details though on it. Glad a few of you got them though!

I'll definitely get some mockups of that. If that is something that people dig I'm all for it :) Will try to open up the IC here in a week or so.   :thumb: Good suggestion.

I really like BFJ, the muted blue is pretty reminiscent of the time period I'm going for with this. Ill have to bust out my color ring out home and see though for sure.

I was so bummed when I missed this set. I was hoping to get one all along, but just happened to miss the purchase window because I was too caught up with work/life. I've had dreams where I was typing on these keys.

With my luck a new group buy will happen and I won't know to check the boards. :(

Please run it again.
