Should I play FF A Realm Reborn?

I have a free copy of the Final Fantasy MMO, is it worth it for me to pay the subscription? I don't have the free trial unfortunately. Would love to hear from anyone that plays the game if it's worth it or not.

I like it.

Its more challenging than WoW, and definitely has more hardcore elements to it.

I find some of the systems to be back asswards, particularly how gearing works, but its not difficult to manage.

The raiding is definitely geared more towards the competent player. Not really casual friendly until you can overly outgear the content.

In general, I also find the population to be much friendlier than WoW.

And, if you've played a lot of the FF games, there's a ton of awesome lore that works in from all the different games.

TBH I play nice-looking mmo's like 80% for the fashion. I think the challenge level will be nice, but will I be able to deck out my character without paying a ****ton of money? I'm ok doing a little work for it.
