As a night club bouncer once told me when I asked him how everything's been after not seeing him for a few years, "I'm getting older and they keep staying the same age [as he's hugging some young hot thing that's a regular]." ... I'm guessing this is another reason why 'age is just a number', lol.
Okay, that settles it: I'm quitting technical writing—I'm going to be a bouncer. That means someone who's happy, right? Someone who keeps everyone cheered up and having fun? You know, they're "bouncy" people? I can do that, no problem.
I think it comes from their job of 'bouncing' rude/rowdy/gropey people out of the club. Most of the good ones aren't very bouncy at all.

But fear not my bouncy friend, there was this regular back in the day when I was a club photographer that was as fluffy as can be (see Gabriel Iglasiaz for the reference) and could move like a pro--he danced with more women every night than the buffed up guys that couldn't dream of moving like he did.

The fluffy dancer was waaay cool too--no ego or anything--just a fun guy that could seriously move. (This is also why I tell every young man I meet that it is very, very important in life to know how to dance well, lol.)
