Sorry guys but when I posted somehow I my post counter was stuck at zero and I got no notification so I thought my post got lost.

The keyboard I actually use and which I'm typing on now is an ancient Logitech G15 which, unfortunately, while I was cleaning it, I broke the flat cable that links the PCB to the little LCD screen.
If You know where I can find spare parts or know someone selling them or selling this keyboard for cheap please let me know.

Honestly this keyboard served me well in all these years and still works pretty good.
Well I think that sums all up
I'd like to build my first mechanical keyboard, I'm a gamer, so a gaming keyboard possibly with blue backilighting and cherry blue switches.
I'm reading tutorials about how to do the stuff: soldering, creating a backplate and eventually make a stylish handmade case.
I live in Italy a Country where stuff like this is not much popular and finding keycaps is an mission impossible, really.
I'm looking for double shot black backlit iso keycaps but unfortunately I can only find UK/US/DE keycaps set with the charateristics that suit my needs.
I could buy one of the many products by the big brands but I think building my own keyboard would be great and informative and have a special taste.
I ended up here while I was googling for the a keycaps set and found a interest check topic.
For now I'm just seeking inspiration and reading tutorials and looking at the work of other people but I have a rough idea of what I'd like to make as soon as I have the money to buy everything: I realized that building your own keyboard a costly but allows you to build exactly what you want and need.
Thanks for the nice welcome.
