Royal Kludge RC930 55g: ranking its tactility
« on: Thu, 26 November 2015, 13:59:15 »
Before any purists doubt me for thinking of getting a clone: If RF made a 87U Type-S 55g, I would probably buy it, but since they don't, and dental band mods don't go far enough in silencing the upstroke that I consider annoying:

If you were going to rank these 3 boards by tactility, what would the proper order be?:

1. RF 87u 55g
2. RC930 55g
3. RF 87u 45g

I am NOT considering the RC930 45g.

Thanks!

I've only used the RF45 once so take this with a grain of salt. I have the other two boards. From least to most:

RC930 55
RF 45
RF 55

The RC930 is different, not just least tactile but the bump point seems to be mid-stroke rather than high as on the RF 55. The RC930 is by far the quietest board that I have.
