Hello fellow keyboard people
« on: Fri, 11 December 2015, 11:09:04 »
So I have been in  the mech market for about a year and a half now. I have a slowly growing addiction and absolutely love keyboards in the 60% to TKL range. Excited to be joining the community here!

Hi!

I am a fan of the TKL layout myself. I have been through a couple of different 60% boards but have settled on one for now.

What are some keyboards you've picked up over the past year and a half?

I have one 65% and that is the Leopold FC660M. Just managed to get new keycaps for it actually. I also have a new Pok3r that I am absolutely loving. Though getting used to having no arrow keys is a bit odd. How do you like the Realforce 87U?

Welcome to Geekhack!

What switches have you got in those boards?

Also have you considered an HHKB?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Welcome to GH.

I recently started using my Minila Air at work, so I'm getting used to a new layout.
