Hello
« on: Fri, 11 December 2015, 22:12:08 »
I'm a long time on and off lurker that rarely post. Though I'm getting a bit more active these days in the cold weather. I have a I think is a decent collection of keyboards. My primary love is a HHKB Pro (yeah the first edition) that I use all day at work. I have a bunch of TKL and some spare unused HHKB's that I've kept around.

Its always a blast to read what is going on here. :)

Welcome to Geekhack!

Feels weird saying that seeing as how you joined about a year before I did.

What kept you away for so long?  Lots has changed since those early days.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
