Hi I'm SirCheddar and I'm New-ish Here
« on: Wed, 16 December 2015, 18:36:58 »
Hi.

I am looking to get more involved here and get my post count up so I am trying to participate in any way I can.

About me:

Favorite switches: 1. Gateron Browns 2. Mx Browns 3. Topre (I don't own a topre, but my friend has a 660c that I tried out and definitely consider it as good as browns, maybe better /: )

My boards: 660m, KC87, Matias TacPro, AEK (just desoldered it though!), Whitefox on the way!

Umm, feel free to ask me anything

You said "ask anything" so I will :))

I opened this thread expecting to find a local lad being as neither nobility or good cheese are American, but you're far from it - what's with your name?!

Hahaha, well, my name actually has no real purpose or reason behind it. Basically, I first got into multiplayer gaming with runescape in around 2005, and my friends name on the game was admchedder. For some reason, I just came up with SirCheddar. I took the liberty of correcting his spelling error of cheddar, and added a Sir probably because of the fact that Sir's were knighted people, and the game had a medieval kind of vibe to it? Moving forward, it became my other video game names and user names, snap chat name, stuff like that. I just kind of stuck...

Thanks for the question! and the warm welcome!

While i am from Cali, I actually barely follow sports at all. I couldn't even name a player on the niner's, and could probably only name a few in all of the NFL /:

So, knowing that, I am going to answer your question with a firm, confident "yes".

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice keyboard collection you've started.  Any custom keycap sets yet?

Hi rowdy, I have a few artisans, and a Pom jelly key cap set. I am looking at picking up another one. I actually am building a keyboard at the moment that will fit the Pom jelly set hopefully perfectly

I thought that was going to be a pic of your artisans :))

I haven't tried POM keycaps yet - something else on my list of things to try.

At least you have a reason.  When you start buying things for no reason is when you should start to worry.

my weird reason is that if the apocalypse comes i will still have a second set of pom jelly....

i definitely should start worrying with those kind of reasons

If the apocalypse does come, I suspect those around you would view your actions with slight suspicion should you elect to pack all your keyboards and keycaps ahead of other items, such as food and weapons.
