Hallo I'm Cados! I'm new here.
« on: Wed, 30 December 2015, 22:15:38 »
Hallo there. I am new to the forum. I recently discovered it while I was looking up custom keycaps online after being unable to join a massdrop due to budget concerns. Eventually I did get to join the White Fox Keyboard drop! There is so much information here! I am new to the keyboard enthusiasts world so I hope you don't mind me! I am looking forward to the new group buys for custom keycap sets in the near future!

Welcome to Geekhack!

What keyboard are you using now, while you wait for your WhiteFox?

If you don't mind the sometimes lengthy delays from Massdrop, the sets they have are often slightly cheaper than GBs here (for several reasons).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
