There's some great stuff in this thread. The Engineer desoldering tool looks nice. I've two things by them, namely this screwdriver and this pair of sciossors, and both are quality.

Another vote for the Datavac as well. Fantastic for dusting out computer cases, cpu/gpu heatsinks, cleaning keyboards, etc. Just need to be careful on which attachment you use, what distance, and don't use it around items on a desk  :p

For my addition, I bought two of these little Nite Ize Pry/Multi-tools, one for my carry and one for home, and they've come in handy a plethora of times.

My Leatherman. 25 year guarantee, serrated blade, saw blade, nice knife, and loads of other tools on it, it's awesome.

+1 to that.

You can never go wrong with a Leatherman. :thumb:

+1 Things I dont leave my home without: leatherman wave and duct tape

Got a Wave myself :D

OK, so this is a silicon tip. That makes sense. I was looking with a skeptical eye since most tips are plastic and don't survive a long soldering session.

I'm glad to see you back beserkfan :)

Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

These 2 on my keys.

I am forgetful and dont like carrying to many things on physical being.

But I always carry my keys on me. Having these 2 have helped me and others tremendously.

Kinda want to buy another set for a backup.

Knife is super sharp and not to mention it has a bottle opener and screwdriver too. And that tiny light is brighter then most flashlights.

Haha. TI calculators are such a racket. Big $$ handout from parents’ pockets directly to TI and standardized test vendors. Stagnant 25-year-old hardware still selling at the original price, despite computers getting many orders of magnitude faster and cheaper in the mean time. Remember Windows 1.0? Remember Macintosh System 6? Remember the days before the Web or SMS existed? Remember when Alps was still making those glorious blue and orange SKCM switches? Remember when George HW Bush was president of the US? Your calculator remembers.

Programmable calculators should be banned on standardized tests (they’re 100% unnecessary for any real pedagogical purpose), and students should use software on the much more capable laptops, iPads, and smartphones they’re already carrying around anyway.

Leatherman Wave is in here a few times already. Probably because it's unbelievably useful.

This thing is amazing.  If I take the warming rack out, I can fit two sub14 pound turkeys at once.

My father has a similar smoker, although his has a smaller barrel on the side for the chips and charcoal. Everything tastes better smoked imo. :p

Ah yeah I see that now, I assumed that it was just left out in the stock photo. That smoker works like a charm. :thumb:

Smoked.  Then injected with hot sauce or Frank's Red Hot.
