Replacing G81-3077 PCB?
« on: Thu, 07 January 2016, 14:48:02 »
Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question; but I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ.

1. Is it difficult to replace a PCB board on a G81-3077?  (aka, is soldering required, or is it just a straight plug & play swap?)

2. If it's a straight swap out; would I just post on the classifieds for a G81-3xxx PCB? Or would I need a more specific PCB to fit?

Thanks!

* Just picked up a CHERRY G81-8016LQNUS on eBay as a backup, but it doesn't feel the same (I'd rather try to repair/rebuild my original board; and with people saying that nobody likes Cherry MY's, I'm hoping to find some parts or options.)
