Looks like Dyesub PBT, medium thickness keycaps. Terminal that could be converted.

The picture here has ****ty white balance. PBT keycaps don’t discolor, and these should be neutral gray and less shiny than the lighting suggests. The case looks only slightly yellowed.

These are some of the best Alps keycaps you can find, and if in good condition, the switches are also lovely.

$66 shipped (at least, that’s the price to CA) is a better than average price.

This particular keyboard isn’t terribly useful as-is. Even if you went to the trouble of reverse-engineering the format and building a converter to get it working on modern machines (a few hours of work), you’d still have a ridiculous layout. That spacebar is obscene.

On the other hand, it’s a great source of parts for people trying to build custom Alps boards. Usually green Alps switches seem to go for about $100/board, and this type of Alps dyesubs are pretty hard to find.

Definitely a great board for DIY. I got my SKCL Greens for my V60 MTS LED project from a Zenith. Those keycaps dont look like the Alps made Dyesubs that are amazing. Not as thick, and missing some features I recognize from the my SGI and (former) Zeniths keycaps. Could be Dyesub ABS, you never know.

No—it's not that important. I realize people have all kinds of opinions about everything. I was just disappointed that you ignored my specific request not to turn my topic into yet another Futaba debate. It's almost like you were going around looking for someone's wishes to defy. But then, I guess we all have to specialize these days.

I wonder if this would work out of the box with a soarer converter cable (the ones sold by user orihalcon)?  That would be pretty sweet!
