"IBM type m clicky keyboard" (eBay)
It's a 1987 Model M 1390131, the earliest M that works with a standard PC (and has lock lights, LOL).
Looks really clean, and includes the fun original black AT cable. The
Esc keycap is missing (he has Left Arrow there instead) but everything else is present.
I know the seller will accept $58.00 because I made him a lowball offer and he countered with that. (Unfortunately I can't offer him any more and stay married.)
Most of you know this, but to connect this board to a PC, you'll need these two very inexpensive accessories:
• A passive AT-to-PS/2 adapter (
like these)
• An active (electronic) PS/2-to-USB adapter (I've found
this 2-cable type are the best
and cheapest)
Of course if you want to connect it to PS/2 rather than USB, you won't need the 2nd one.
If you end up buying this, I suggest you ask the seller to be sure to:
• Pack it securely (e.g. at least 1" of bubble wrap all around)
• Detach the cable so it doesn't get bent in transit.
