I’m still hoping someone in the SF Bay Area will bring one of these to a meetup someday so I can try it.

$1500 is a bit out of my price range though. :-)

This same one was sold for $350 by the same seller a while back.

I'll buy for tree fiddy

$1500 lol

If I could I'd try to offer around 350 or heck maybe even 500. I think this is the real "squid" collectors are after tho, and is hoping to bank on that.

The original list price was $600, then he modified the listing my guess when he saw all the hits he was getting.

"Friend" bought it for $350, didn't pay because reasons, and now it's back for $1500.

If people can post here about something like this, why can't I post about a non-existent Space Cadet for $300 OBO? It's practically the same in terms of real-world usefulness, isn't it?

Wow, why do these command such a premium?

They are the first ever board that mx browns were put into. They have the best mx browns you could ever type on, that price is outrageous though since they normally go for ~$350 possibly higher.

High price, but it is the best keyboard in the world. My 5k and HHKB are boards that will never be sold.

These keyboards command a premium at $300, but not at $1500, which is just this seller up-pricing it.

It's similar to seeing those industrial IBM SSKs being listed at $1500, but no one buying it for months. (or ever).

Without a doubt. Makes me wonder why they waste the money on eBay fees even listing these boards.

Doesn’t ebay waive the listing fees on the first few dozen listings each month?
