Citizen 330DP Vintage Keycaps

Found these awesome retro keycaps at work :O From a Citizen 330DP Calculator Printer thang.





The addition key has this hilariously AMAZING sculpt to it. Oh and the subtraction key also has this outrageously long funny lofted chamfer:



The switch itself looks like a weird Topre/MX Hybrid, but neither key types fit :(


...However, the keycaps do fit onto a Cherry MX switch, although, do not press down completely into the well in the switches enclosure (because of the diameter of the boss). I do think with a bit of filing on the stem, it will fit.

How do the switches feel? No immediate results came up on Google and I'm interested to find out what type of switches these are.

Very very mushy. It feels like a membrane. I'm super curious too, very tempted to unscrew it apart and see what's inside :E

Hmm, I'm thinking if they feel very mushy it might just be a membrane. I agree, you should open it up if you get a chance!

95.9% positive it's a membrane. I low-key quickly took off the back enclosure at work, FILLED WITH DUST, the switch part was enclosed inside it's own enclosure (with the PCB being its backplate) no discernible markings on the PCB - no copper/traces/nothing. But yeah, the PCB and the housing for the switches had like a million screws and things where getting to risky so I returned to work ><"

It's a beautiful colorway.  Reminiscent of the 1976 SA, of course, but a lot more subtle-cool.  I would love to see a keyset inspired by this!

Me too dude! Love the colour scheme, SOMEONE MAKE IT! :D <3 ___ <3 and oh my god if they could get those sculpted caps too, that'd be sweet  8)
