Hello!
« on: Tue, 26 January 2016, 21:24:32 »
Hi guys, I've been lurking around reddit for a while now and I finally decided to join GeekHack in search for a 1976 SA set  ;D

While I'm on my quest for the 1976 set, I hope I will stay for the community as well :thumb:

My favorite keyboard as of now is the novatouch! Loving the smooth typing experience, but I am a little disappointed with the notorious rattling on the upstroke of the key :(.

I am thinking about trying out the pok3r in the near future as well!

Thanks! I've seen it, but figured I would probably be out of the US during the time since SA is probably going to be busy with other sets :P

Welcome to Geekhack!

What keyboard/s are you using, and planning to install the 1976 set on?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
