Cherry MX 6.0 Keyboard
« on: Sat, 30 January 2016, 17:36:42 »
This keyboard is made by Cherry and reviewed by Anandtech. I could not find another forum reference to it. [Cherry MX 6.0 Keyboard][/http://www.anandtech.com/show/9987/the-cherry-mx-board-60-mechanical-keyboard-review] I'm not familiar with this form of inserting a hyperlink. I apologize if I didn't get it right. (and apparently I didn't.)

  • Missed another sale.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's actually their highest quality Keyboard yet released by them.  Have it sitting in front of a PC downstairs and the Mrs loves using it for her Facebook account.

Don't personally like the weakness of the keys being all Reds but some would love them regardless,  also the keyboard seems well built and solid compared to all their previous G80-3000 releases.

You could do that yourself or have someone mod one for you.

Interestingly I haven't seen much discussion regarding their main amazing feature, the so called "analog" signal scanning which is supposed to bypass the added debounce delay issue caused by digital scanning.
