Hello everyone! I've been lurking these very helpful forums for the past number of months as I've been assessing various mechanical keyboards for my daily use. I ended up with the G710 with blue switches, and I apologize if this has been covered or asked before (i googled around and got mixed answers - maybe I'm just stupid xD), but can I swap out the top of the keyswitches on this keyboard like in this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLBXxzmuA_Q The 's' key on my G710 is not as defined in its resistance or clack (almost feels like a brown) and it really bothers me when I'm typing or gaming from time to time, so I was wanting to see if I could pop the top of the switch out like in the video (looks like the top housing along with the stem and spring...) and put in a new one?
I'm not sure if there's complications when dealing with a keyswitch that also has an led within it as well. I've also been reading that if the keyboard has plate-mounted keyswitches then I'd need to learn to solder/desolder things to get the job done, which I'm not cool with. Is the G710 (non-plus) plate-mounted or pcb-mounted?
Again, apologies if this has been covered or answered before or even somewhere obvious.. with the little time I've had open to research the issues, I've come up with nothing conclusive enough to make me go ahead with trying to replace it. I could always get a replacement from Amazon I suppose if all else fails, though maybe I'm a bit worried the replacement will have a different key with the same issue.

Thanks a bunch!
