Hi all, and an announcement of a IBM model M sound emulator.

Hi GeekHack,

I'm a long time lurker and happy user of the IBM Model M space saver. Today I registered for the shameless self-promotion of a little software project I made, which others here also might enjoy: a buckle spring sound emulator; this generates the nostalgic happy sound of your faithful old keyboard when you have to work on a computer lacking proper hardware.

Neat utility :)  I prefer the sound of my real SSKs and already used one to annoy someone at work that he complained, so now I used a CODE with clears instead.

Is your SSK bolt-modded?

It might, if too many rivets popped off the original SSK.

AGFAIK both of mine are not bolt-modded either, and both feel and sound fine (except the Esc on one that does not click very well).
