=/ just wanted to point out as someone new to the mech community this is one of the biggest if not the biggest turn off to artisan caps. Its bad enough they have to be raffled... and people can win more then one... but some of these raffles are 2-3 mins long and just really puts bad taste in new peoples mouths. I know I know! what people are thinking! who cares... but with any community specially a sub community... if you want to grow you need new blood coming in. Otherwise you end up with the same people... trading them between each other.

Cause I don't just want to complain! somethings that might help if you have to run raffles is run them for 24-48hrs!.... keep a database of who's won and who hasn't and weight people who hadn't won higher then people who have. etc etc... that way you inject new life into things!..... I know unpopular opinion but truth isn't popular always ;P

At the rate he's producing and running raffles for these keycaps, I don't know whether ETF has that much time and control over stuff like that. I mean, he's doing this for almost every day of the summer and barely any stops. And running raffles for a batch of 20 keys for 24 hrs is just allowing to many people to feel fair anyways.

Bro, tbh, the Poisoned Summer sale format is pretty amazing as far as artisan sales go. Usually a maker will only have a raffle once every 4-6 months. Marcus is over here doing them every ****ing day. Do you know how insane that is? I have no clue how he is doing it. If you lose today, you can just try again tomorrow. Since you're new, I don't think you fully comprehend how fantastic this is. You'd usually be waiting half a year or more after a loss!

Having said that, I have never won an ETF raffle. Yet the fact remains, Marcus is doing his best in here. No artisan maker has ever attempted something quite like this outside of Binge's fulfillment sale. But I think I prefer what Mamcus is doing here with Poisoned Summer.

Keep 'yer chin up, dude.

Edit- I can't spell worth a ****.

I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.

^^^ beat me to it. I know how you feel (not towards Nightcaps because I've been extremely lucky) but other artisans I'll probably never win. Running micro batches for 24 hours would be just as bad because it would take in 1000+ buyers easy. I think this method is good since it makes you work for your cap. And on the subject of growing the community, ETF doesn't really have an issue with this since these are some of the most sought after caps. I believe people willing to pay almost a grand for one cap (1 of 3 joker eggface) speaks for that.

I can see where the guys comming from as to like auctions on slack but honestly the PS sales are fun minus me realizing I'm not very lucky.. People ask wtf am I doing spazzing out typing like mad or checking every notification I get on my phone, so I explain an give the run down... They look at me like, "300-400 people are trying to fill out that form in 3 mins for a piece of plastic!?" It's a total rush, good thing is there's only been about 4 caps (I would kill for lolol) the whole PS where it was actually a let down because I thought "now is my time" and have lost more than 50

Honestly I feel like poisoned summer could've been 1 normal raffle open for 24-48 hours just like all of his other sales. It looks like these batches are a total of 5 keys each, granted it would be a big sale but more people would have a chance at them.

I'm not a fan of this style of raffle though, it rewards people who are obsessed.

I feel like it's fair to reward those obsessed with your caps rather than giving it to someone who's reaction would be "oh neat, I won"

Don't get me wrong I love ETF keys and really want to win most of these, but I'm not going to spend my whole day refreshing pages hoping I can beat 500 other people at clicking on links everyday.

The point is the people who win these are here most of the day, everyday. I'm sure a lot of us don't have jobs that would allow us to stare at a keyboard forum all day, unfortunately....

This method just doesn't really spread the love
