Octagon v2 was out of the question when I joined the game... Also, my endgame doesn't exist yet, 75% VE.A style with 10 macro keys on left with no split haha

The type S is the silent version, which sounds intriguing to me due to wanting the option of taking it to work, but it's a lot more expensive for just quieting the board I feel

I'll look into those, I don't know much about the topre boards since I've never owned one. I may have to stem swap some of the sliders because I want to do a zelda-esque build around the Elfstone

AFAIK Realforce 87U is the only one available with the 55g domes?
When I chose my topre I was debating between that and HHKB for longest time, but ultimately chose HHKB just cause it seemed more iconic.

I would think that the type heaven would be the poor man's topre. Also if you are going to get a hhkb, order it from amazon.co.jp they are around $180.
