Any other places to purchase HHKB Pro 2 in Asia other than Amazon.co.jp?

So, I've recently moved and I'm currently residing in Taiwan at the moment.

As, I'm still relatively new here and still adjusting, I'm not familiar with all the best places to purchase electronics in this area. I know pchome is a big online vendor that is popular here in Taiwan, but sadly they don't sell HHKB - though I do see a lot of ducky and pok3r.

Does anyone know where I can buy HHKB Pro 2 in Taiwan, or perhaps any other reputable vendors in Japan besides the Japanese Amazon store? (trying to see if I can find a place that sells it cheaper than amazon.)

HHKB is a quality keyboard and for new ones they are around that price range. You should expect to pay for a quality keyboard

what's the cost that's actually being eliminated with this buying process? the import tax, custom fee?

If you pm evo_spec he would just charge you for
Item price + shipping + proxy price which is around 1750 yen IIRC
and you can ask him to declare the item to be 50$ value so you don't get any tax

actually I just realized taobao has a large selection of these keyboards and my brother is actually working in shanghai at the moment, so i'll just ask him to purchase one for me and pay him back when he comes visits next week.

if it for some reason doesn't work out with your brother then i would recommend contacting Evo_Spec about this.
he helped me proxy a HHKB and it saved me a big bag of money :-) went very smoothly.
