My take on ergodox palm pads
« on: Wed, 24 February 2016, 18:14:17 »
Finally got started(and finished) making palm pads for my ergodox. This was also my first try on leather working, but I think the seams turned out all right. Everything except the leather is "scraps" from work  :D

PICS!!

parts for one pad.

First "pocket" sewn.

Flip side.

10 points to the first one to name what I'm using for padding.

Helicoil overkill!

Tasteful side-pad.

Original ergodox screws taped into the aluminium plate.

All done!

A fun little 2 day project and as a result a much more comfortable ergodox.

The side-pad shot seals it.  Awesome job!

Just finished staining the leather with leather colouring. Later on I'm going to coat it with some wax to protect the leather.
