Hey all,
I was thinking it would be a cool addition if for my VE.A in the upcoming GB that I match the colors of my slofis that will go on my left 10 keys with the switches they will be over.
So I would be needing:
Red Switch (I have these + Are really easy to get)
Orange Switch (Are Hirose Oranges a thing? Are they easy to get)
Yellow Switch (I think there is a Kailh Yellow. If so, where do I get these or maybe a hirose Yellow)
Green (Cherry MX Green I think I have one, but i could always buy a 5 pack)
Blue (Cherry MX Blue, I think I have one of these, but I could always buy a 5 pack or a switch tester or ask someone on free stuff)
Purple (Zealios, I have a few left I think)
Pink (Are there any Pink MX Compatible switches? Maybe one of those new "gamer" switch companies makes their own, or maybe that hot swappable switches, are one of those pink?)
White (Cherry MX White or Clear switches, I could find some of these I might go for whites because I want to stay with actually getting the correct colors)
Grey (There are Cherry MX Greys, I could get one)
Black (There are cherry MX Blacks, I could get one)
So to sum that part up where do I get Orange, Yellow, and Pink MX compatible switches?
Now for the second part:
What switches would you suggest for my VE.A Build? It would need to be Cherry MX Compatible because I love keysets and that is one of the main reasons why I am getting a VE.A.
I already have a FC660M with Zealios, so I don't want two boards of the same switches, because I may not feel like using one board if that happens.
So I'm thinking maybe something clicky since linear = ewww. Also I don't think that greens or something much heavier than my 65g zealios would work for me. So what switch would you recommend for Clicky goodness?
And now to keysets:
Since the color of my VE.A's case is not yet decided, I have to choose between the silver, dark grey, or black. I don't like sphericals so please no SA or DSA. So what GMK sets do you think would look pretty with UV LEDs or just in general. I already have Hyperfuse.
Any advice?
