Hi there, I recently purchase a gold touch GTC-0077 off ebay. When I plug it onto my windows 10/linux live cd, only the green led lights up, no new hardware detected? none of the buttons on the key sends to windows?

"The keypads produced prior to December 2007 do have an issue with Windows 7. The way to tell the production date of the keypad is fairly simple. The first two digits are the week produced and the second pair of digits is the year produced. So for example. 1st two digits, 08 indicates a week 8 production, and the second pair of digits, 11 indicates a 2011 production date. If your keypad was produced prior to 0108 (January 2008), it will not work with Windows 7." I checked mine is made in 2010.
there's two usb on the device, I plug my phone onto it and it shows charge so those to usb have power but just no connection to OS? (it cant communicate with OS) is the controller dead?
