yeah, the win98 keys look weird off-center. A (couple) windowed/LED keys would absolutely make this set. dunno if i have ever seen windowed magenta keys before...

Also, need 1u zero key minimum for 1800 support. thanks!

great! magenta pack has added more practical keys but keeping concise as a whole. it made a huge strides.
magenta pack is pretty wonderful. will be in it.

Definitely down for a magenta modifiers pack. Thanks for also including some unusual size keys like the smaller backspace and the shift keys.

I'd be interested in the WoB GMK set itself and maybe the magenta modifiers (a big maybe for me...they're just a tad loud for my taste).

Like soilheart, I would also appreciate some 1.25u blanks to take the place of Windows keys on the bottom row. Looking forward to seeing this go to GB!

Windowed LED Capslock (Stepped), Capslock (Full-touch), NumLock, ScrollLock keys?

These are very desirable and rare keys, and would be phenomenal if we could have it in the base set.

No blanks, CODE is great. Due to pricing, I always rather have a legend than a boring "blank".

i will second the windowed keys, definitely want to see those in magenta at least. also dont like blanks, but my preference is Win98

Big update everyone!

I’m very excited to announce that we have a distributor lined up to run this group buy!

I’ll release the full details when everything is finalised, so for now I’d like to finish up this IC and finalise the designs of these 2 sets. My current thought process is to make the following changes:

WoB:
- Center Win98 and Menu key legends
- Add 6u spacebar (if possible)
- Add 1u Menu (win98 style, but only if 6u is possible)
- Remove 2x 1u "CODE" keys
- Add 2x 1u Blanks
- Add 2x 1.25u Blanks

    We can also add one of the following options:
    - Windowed keys (4 keys)
    - 1800 (6 keys)

Magenta Mod Pack:
- Add 2x 1.25u Blanks

If you have an suggestions, thoughts, comments, concerns or whatever, please voice them now!

I'm leaning towards windowed keys as well, since OG 1800 isn't too hard to find. And i'll probably add windowed to the magenta pack if I add them to the main set.

And we have the final renders, the price will be a little bit higher than what I initially wanted it to be but i think the extra additions will be worth it, thanks to everyone who gave feedback and suggestions! I hope you all like the final design!

Thanks for the support guys! Though most of the orders won't be shipped from down under, it's just to expensive to ship anywhere but domestically. Also sorry to everyone for the render pictures not working, I'm fairly sure I've gotten them to work consistently now.

Probably not for a few months to avoid clashing with other GMK sets that will be running soon, I want to give this set the best chance of reaching MOQ

I haven't confirmed these details with the vendor yet so I don't have anything concrete but GMK's MOQ is 150 and given the vendor will likely buy some extra sets the MOQ might be around 120 or so (just speculation on my part) and I'll post pricing info when I have it
Any indication of when this might start?

Probably not for a few months to avoid clashing with other GMK sets that will be running soon, I want to give this set the best chance of reaching MOQ

Hey all, I'd like to gauge interest in some custom packaging for my gmk white on black and magenta mod pack group buy.

The idea is to have a beautiful box which you can store the keys in when they're not in use, provide extra protection during shipping to avoid scratches and give this set a more premium feel.

This is just a mock-up I worked with my sister on, the magenta section will slide over the box for those who bought the mod pack as well as the main set. They keys will be housed in foam like here: http://i.imgur.com/PcXsepX.jpg (photo credit to sitch) within the box. We're thinking that this will be an optional extra for those who want it.

I'd love to hear any and all thoughts you may have, but specifically what you'd like to see in the box's design, how much you'd be willing to pay for it and if you would actually get it.

Also I guess this spills the beans on the vendor :p

I like it! What sort of material would the box be made from? Cardboard usually degrades quite quickly and would look rubbish pretty soon.

Cheers mate! Not sure which material yet but I would assume cardboard, I wouldn't worry too much about degradation though, most of the cardboard boxes I have lying around are still in really good condition and if we make these we'll make sure they're of high quality.

Yeah degradation is a problem with cardboard especially for someone like me who live in a humid tropical country

However with a cardboard, it can easily damaged during shipping. Unless its a high quality one, this can be tricky but I love the idea :)
