just keep looking at keyboards. Whether it's on the interwebz, or right in front of you.

Welcome to Geekhack!

This thread might help a bit.

Otherwise welcome to wallethack - this is a very deep rabbit hole :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Bargain!

Yes, please read that post Rowdy linked. Then read it again.

Alternatively you could join the HHKB cult and never need another keyboard again  >:D

Actually it was a good deal.... Three versions of the cheap ABS sets that just closed on massdrop, and a set of the Tai Hao PBTs that also just closed 😁 although I wish I got the slate/purple mods instead of black on black....

Tai Hao are not too bad - I have 7 or 8 sets, right back from when they were first "discovered" and sets were priced at $6.50.  The only company I've found that does doubleshot blanks!

The original sets had doubleshot blanks for Win keys - I don't know if they still do that though.

Welcome aboard if you think that $100 is a lot I hope you don't get into Artisans, or I hope you do and start making your own designs for sell and trade then I will probably buy/trade with you in the future!
