Favorite soldering tips
« on: Sun, 15 May 2016, 15:18:42 »
This is not something that is frequently discussed, but I wanted to get the opinions of others as to what their preferred soldering tips are for keyboard applications.  Buying individual tips is expensive, but getting them in 4-8 packs is a much better value.  I even found a genuine Hakko multi-pack for about 9$.  I found the only tips that really work this use are the size 900M-TB and the 900M-TI.  I found multipacks of these tips and was considering getting them, although they seem low quality.  I was wondering what others preferences are in this arena.  Maybe I'm missing out on something that works better?  The 900M-TK seems to work well against soldering braid for removing solder.
KPB V60 Gateron Browns and Leopold Keycaps.  Poker 3 with Gateron Browns and Poker keycaps.  Poker 3 with Cherry MX Browns, ABS keycaps and white LED's.

Leopold FC660M- my new favorite, right out of the box.
