BenQ I100 keys removable?
« on: Wed, 23 December 2009, 20:04:29 »
Heyho!

I just got a super offer (1.5 Euro per unit!) on 13x BenQ I100 norwegian layout keyboards, but I can't really bother the seller directly (it's through a police auction), so I'm wondering if anyone here owns one or had one ever?

Simply because I want to take them all and paint ALL their keys.

Think the keys on these keyboards are easily removed and reattached? What's the norm for this, is it usually possible with keyboards? I've inspected the keyboards laying around in the house and it's certainly possible on all those.

Thoughts?

Looks like a run of the mill rubber dome keyboard. You shouldn't have any problems removing the keys.

In fact, there are almost no keyboards out there where you can't remove the keys. Chiclets may be the exception there, as are toughened ones designed to be used in harsh conditions
