GH Diversity Series: Ask Someone Who Knows When to Lock a Thread Anything

It seems that GH really needs to get more diverse as there is lacking representation for many of the minorities.
One of those minorities on GH would be those who can realise when something is a bad idea and is getting out of hand.
I am making this particular thread because apparently we have very few people of that nature around here.
