« on: Mon, 30 May 2016, 05:24:05 »
Spot IBM twists spring axis mechanical keyboard MODEL M Series PS2 Interface

I'm fairly new to mechanical keyboards, and i don't really know much about model m's, if someone has some more info on this please let me know :p

It's listed for ¥ 178.00 (for reference about 27 USD) and comments seem positive (?)

Welcome to Geekhack!

Not a bad price for a Model M, but then you've got postage on top of that, and these are heavy.

Also I can never get the other pictures to appear on Taobao.  If I click the big image I get a blank page in a new tab.  If I click the little images nothing happens.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks for the welcome rowdy :D
Looks like you weren't kidding about the weight - the price  might end up doubling with int. shipping :o

PS. Try opening in a new tab from the thumbnails down the bottom? The photos aren't great anyway - I couldn't read the label :p

Looks like a standard 1391401 to me. It's not a bad price, but many shipping services suddenly become extremely expensive over 2 kg, which is the weight of a Model M without any packaging so it's impossible to keep it under that.
Check my keyboard video reviews:
