It was pretty easy once you figured out like the first half of the email ^^ that was fun you successfully got me to focus for 30 minutes on a task.

The solution to this contest had three parts.  The first was converting the octal code to text which gave instructions for decoding the book code in the second phase.  This resulted in a bunch of words that didn't really make sense, but by taking the first letter of each word you would get a message telling you to send an email to a special email address!
