IBM 3101 Industrial!

So... since this keyboard is now officially grey, it's industrial. 

*sigh*

I asked the powder guys to take a look at the original colour when picking out a new paint, but they may have been colourblind.

So, I've ordered my solenoid and its controller from the very kind lot_lizard; I think by that time it would be worthy of a wrap-up :D

Very nice! The beamspring solenoids are so silly-loud, it's a lot of fun to type on what sounds like a semi-automatic rifle  :))

So are we doing the tour or not?  :p

I'll be travelling to Vancouver in August, and I definitely can't take the 3101 with me.  Seems like a perfect time for a tour.  :D

Nice work, although it might not have been the colour that you were originally after, it looks like it is well finished, and the colour isn't that bad. I'd really like a beam spring myself.
