Longtime lurker looking to get more involved
« on: Sun, 12 June 2016, 05:07:13 »
Hello everyone, I have had this account for quite some time and have decided to get more involved in the community. I've been into mechs for around 6 years and am up to 9 boards. The latest of which is a Novatouch. I hope to make some friends and score some customs!  :thumb:

Let's see... Poker 2(MX Clear), Pok3r(MX Blue),QFR(MX Blue), Rosewill RK-900(MX Blue), Ducky Zero Shine(MX Brown), Ducky Shine 3 Tuhaojin(MX Blue), Keycool 84(MX Brown), Novatouch and finally a VR68M with gateron browns on preorder.

Right now it's between the Keycool, QFR and the Novatouch.

Welcome to Geekhack!

9 months or so is not a long time - someone created an account a couple of years before they made their first post

A good range of keyboards you have, although only a few switches.  What happened with the MX clears?  Did you find you preferred the lighter switches?

Novatouch is right along there with the blues and browns, at least ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
