This keyboard seems to have two USB outputs. How and why?

Some additional info for that keyboard as well

1. It's a "Sample" unit, it even says so on the serial code.
2. Its warranty seal was already voided before I opened it.
3. It was missing a screw exactly underneath the warranty seal.

Now, that raises some questions. Was that possibly a faulty unit and that's why it was sent as a free review sample? Or is it like that for all Ducky One keyboards?

EDIT: Got a reply from Ducky themselves.

"Hello! This one is a sample, and it is the first batch sample. So it is hand made."
