Joined a few weeks ago after ordering my S60-X from MD, which will be a first for me in many ways.
First mechanical keyboard. I did use a Lioncast K20 with MX browns for a few minutes, my S60-X will come with Gateron Browns. Seems to suit me well, but will probably not be the last switch I use

First DIY keyboard kit. Experience with soldering is there, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.
First board with blanks, but I will use transparent inkjet foil to put front prints on the number row and punctuation.
First board with dyed caps. Want orange alphas and white everything else, maybe a few orange numbers as well. That's going to be messy.
First board with control where caps lock normally is, though I'm actually learning that right now on both my desktop and laptop using SharpKeys.
First 60%. My current Sidewinder X6 had a detachable TKP, never missed it. My XPS 12 is pretty much 75%, so I should be fine.
First board with ANSI. This I'm most afraid of, but it looks so much better, I only ever use left shift so that'll be easier to reach and <, >, [,], { and } are much easier to reach. Also caps are easier to get, don't wanna miss out on that. The missing symbols for German I'll put somewhere else, I actually use them a lot less than any of the above "programmers punctuation" keys. Maybe I can set the firmware up so that ae, oe and ue will be translated to ä, ö and ü respectively. I also want to try an ortholinear 40% at some point, so getting used to a 1 tall enter now is only going to help then.
Anyway, I've already gotten quite a bit of valuable information from here, glad to be a part of it!
