NIB IBM 6247440 (prototopre?) $150 OBO
« on: Fri, 08 July 2016, 23:30:08 »
Is the legendary "prototopre" board, or the membrane (actually RD?) version? (If you ask, maybe the seller will check. If I ask, I might buy it, so I'd better not.)

I though all Prototopre things were Brother-made, never knew about that M clone...=o

Anyway that one seems to have F-style feet whereas this one has normal M ones, so I don't think it's that.

It's interesting that it's a red-font box, most IBMs are blue-font.

I'm pretty sure everything related to RISC came in red logoed boxes.

A bit off topic: Why do people think its okay to put their naked feet into pictures of things on tables. It's gross.

What's up with you lot, hate to see another human foot anywhere?

Don't care what they show as long as it's not diseased or rotting off, then again some of your faces here could fit in that category  ;D .

I would only like that pic if the foot was typing on a HHKB.

I knew you guys would know more about this than I did. That's why I put it here—as opposed to, say, on a sewing site.

LOL. I doubt most people are paying enough attention to notice. We have pretty short attention spans these days.

I would only like that pic if the foot was typing on a HHKB.

Indeed, that'd make as much sense as HHKBs themselves. "Ooh, I wonder how much I can slow myself down by having to use key combinations for the most basic functions?" But they're so c-u-u-u-t-e, of course.  :?D
