Anyone has infos on this Tulip ?
« on: Sun, 03 January 2010, 05:09:32 »

It's a Tulip 11-500033-00. That's all I've got on this keyboard. I couldn't find more informations on what type of switches it's using.

If anyone has a clue...

I've asked the seller to get me a pic of what's underneath a key. Here's the result :

They aren't even very good rubber dome sliders since the sliders are built-in to the keys. I wouldn't recommend getting it.

The layout is like what you find on Siemens boards, with LCtrl, LAlt and Space the same size as on a regular 102-key board. I like that. The lettering contrast looks quite good, too.

The unevenly yellowed keys indicate varying plastic quality (the same can also be found with Dell AT101Ws and their 102-key relatives), and the Enter stabilizer doesn't look too high-tech. That label color... hmm. Anyway, it looks like an average quality rubber dome for the time (maybe '95 to '97), neither cheap junk nor super heavy duty.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D
