How to mitigate backlight bleed-through on underside of keycaps?

I like Varmilo's mint front-side printed PBTs, but I don't like the blacklight bleed. See video for reference. I'm thinking about painting the undersides with really fine paint marker. Any ideas?

I've put small pieces of black electrical tape on the underside of the keycap where the LED is located. It still lets the light disperse around the cap, but stops that big blob of light that hits the cap.

Not a bad idea for a diffused effect. However...

this is such a good idea! I was wondering if someone found them slightly annoying like I do. I do like them led lights, but it does looks a bit odd when I see the underside of the kecaps more clearly then the lettering on the keycap.  :mad:

So to sum up:
I just stick aluminium tape into the inside of the caps?
And where can I get that tape!?

The thread I linked suggests the tape is used for ducts and such - so maybe an air-conditioning supply business?

I did the same on a friends boarde Used electrical tape and its perfect
