I'm not sure if it's worth cutting up a Phantom PCB or not.
I'd like to be able to swap keycaps without the fear of pulling a switch through the plate, especially when it's plastic.
Having the switch soldered into a PCB will help prevent that, provide a sturdier base to type on and give me the option of adding some internal supports to screw the PCB's into.
It also means I'm not limited to costar stabs.
I'm going to chop the PCB into 3 pieces - left, right and nav.
I've ordered a 6.25u enabler from techkeys to go under the spacebar.
I'll wire the PCB up as usual (diodes, resistors, teensy, etc) and use hookup wire to jump any traces that need to be cut.
The enabler will be wired to the usual spacebar position via hookup wire.
