Anyone else just use the same key cap set forever?

Today I realized I've been using this wonderful GMK Dloch set for 3 or 4 years now. I love them, they are perfect for me apparently if not a bit shiny by now.

I know this is a crazy thing to say around here, but anyone has anyone else used the same cap set for a long time? Sure I have other boards that are cap sluts, but my daily driver has remained steady.

I don't want to have too many extra sets lying around but that can be hard with so many cool ones coming out  .

haha i have this orange realforce set but im too lazy to change all the caps and i like the black ones.

With the exception of a couple of artisans, this CODE has its stock keycaps on it and there is no plan to change (unless the black coating wears completely off).

HHKB and all Model M keyboards I have are about 99% original keycaps.

But everything else gets swapped around fairly regularly.

I used to change out all the keycap sets a lot but got lazy.

One set that always remains the same is ducky green/cheese set on my 60%

OG Dyesub for me. Whichever board I'm using, that keyset goes with it.

Likewise. I tend to find my favorite set for a particular board and then stick with it. My Hammer board has a very nice degree of shine on its caps, but that's how it is. Keys are meant to be typed on; shine is inevitable.

Stock keycaps on the model M for sure (exception of a couple artisans of course). Poker2 has had the same keycaps on for a couple years now (evergreen DSA), although I do go through phases on thinking about other sets for it. Recently the IMSTO PBT sets caught my eye, purple and green specifically, but I decided to hold out for an HHKB.

I've been rocking side print thick pbt Leopold caps at work for almost 2 years but they've been used on different keyboards in that time.

Yup, since I don't care about fancy colorways.

For example, I've had WoB PBT doubleshots from Vortex on my QFR ever since I got it 1.5 year ago; it's unobtrusive with good contrast, feels alright, and both texture and legends should last.

I've messed with keycaps on my ErgoDox a bit more, but it's been settled on mostly a mixture of thick POM Cherry keycaps for a couple of years; the only changes are being made in profiles of some thumb/pinkie keys. I'm hoarding similar cheap thick Cherry caps for future keyboards too.

I'm still on the journey of finding my perfect key set. So far I'm really enjoying the stock caps on my HHKB, but love the aesthetics of my "Quartz". No one warned me that I would have this dilemma.

I have Atreus and am not able to find new (non-plain ALPS) keycap set. 

Been 8 months I've been using the same set even though I want to change.

I have the originals with my boards. it is part of the reason I never bought key sets. I feel like I would use just the one. I do not know how people how manage.

I agree! I don't mind the shine... It shows that the key caps have been well worn and used for their intended purpose . I don't usually resell either so that's not an issue for me.

Still stuck with stocks, but been thinking about how to lay out all my sets for all my boards. Going for that "this keyset is for this keyboard" attitude, so at the very least all of them have their own personality.
