Decker's layout ideas central
« on: Sun, 24 July 2016, 03:00:22 »
So this is for my personal archiving but have a look !
Note when you see a Fn key, imagine it could be a Win key if its more usefull...

Here the idea is to have 4 lines but with number line instead of space line.
Talked about them here : https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=83537.0;topicseen
and here for the small ones : https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=81652.0;topicseen

4x15 stag numbers on top

Here the idea is to have a reduced size board on the left side plus a reduced num pad and no numbers on top row only symbols.

5x16 stag : 40% + Symbols row + 3/4 NumPad

5x15.5 stag : 40% + Symbols row + 3/4 NumPad

5x16 stag : 40% + Symbols row + 3/4 NumPad - Azerty

I've stumbled on a Soviet keyboard picture and I fitted the Qwerty keys to better visualize its layout differences :

Here the idea is to imagine an alternate reality world, with alternate OS and alternate keyboard (international latin).
Blue key is for blue commands, brown key is for alternate red symbols, yellow key is for user defined shortcuts.
Note that the ABC organization of letters is to be international thought its probably a bad idea.

Here is a Layout that takes a Qwerty and adds the symbols for French a bit like an Azerty - layout changes in color.
This is a 'just for fun' attempt after the ranting about what I dislike in Azerty and Qwerty.
