I've taken it completely apart in order to install silencing rings on the switch sliders, so I've seen how it is built. It is a very clean, well-made keyboard. Top quality parts all around.
However, it should be noted that some parts are different than previous RealForce boards due to the RGB backlighting. For instance, the switch housings are completely transparent. Does that make them better or worse than standard RealForce switch housings? I couldn't say. All I can say is that they are different. The stabilizers are different too. I've never seen any like them before. But they are completely silent and they work great, so being different isn't a bad thing at all.
The case is perhaps the weakest component, IMO. Its design is different from a typical RealForce board and it doesn't feel as solid to me. But then, my only point of comparison is with my 104UK Hi-Pro board which is built like a tank. Having said that, I don't really notice the case design while I'm typing. After installing silencing rings, it types and sounds like a dream, so I am not at all disappointed. I only wish I could get it in white!
