can the Wyse PCE keyboard be directly converted to ps2?

I hope this is the correct place to post.

Basically, the DT wiki says it speaks ps/2 protocol. Does this mean I can connect the rj10 directly to a ps/2 jack?

I know that it's probably yes however I have seen nobody do this, only with a teensy.

No, only some models speak PS/2. Those keyboards have a cable with a DIN or mini-DIN connector like PC keyboards.

The PS/2 models should have a flat-topped case. The models that speak WYSE's terminal protocol should have a raised box above the function keys.

PS. I'll go check the DT Wiki article to see if I can rewrite it to be less ambiguous. ;)

Thanks, that's a shame, I'm not a fan of converters... Thanks anyways.

Just get a board with Gateron blacks, they're just as good.

i've been considering gats. i think my current focus is to get a board with white/blue/green/orange alps. if i get the money, i might just wait for a mx plate to pop up and solder gaterons in.
