Is this really a Filco?

I was browsing KBDmania and I found this

Is that a real Filco board? I've never seen this form factor before.

I don't know of the actual release date of this product but it's at least 6 years old, which means it predates the Majestouch brand.

As a matter of course it's been discontinued, but at least it's newer than the dino keyboard, I guess.

Is this like the Deck keyboard or was that an actual OEM from Cherry?

Neither of them, from what I read. It uses ALPS white, not Cherry switches.
But I have no information whether they're genuine or simplified. I suspect latter.

yea I see them on Yahoo Japan every now and then. I just keep hoping the pro version of it will show up (it is programable) because if it does I will try to get it. Also their is one listed right now with a starting price of 8,900 yen or about $95 before expenses and shipping which is more than I'm willing to pay for one right now.

I see the CS Topre for 95 as well I think. I'm so tempted but it looks so dirty =[

It's an interesting little keyboard. Its layout is definitely better than some other compact keyboards (although the Mighty Mouse beats it).
