i've got my eye on a vintage sanyo keyboard however i do not know:
1. what protocol / connector it uses
2. what switch type it uses.
this is what it looks like:

Many Sanyo keyboards used Fujitsu leaf spring switches of various generations. Considering that's an XT keyboard, I think Fujitsu leaf spring is a pretty decent guess.
