Yes, indeed. Ten years at Digital Domain. Tron: Legacy was one of the high points of my time there.

Just a question. When will we be charged? Right after placing the order? or after the preorder phase ends? I'm thinking of getting the three sets, but I want to space out my bill a little. :D

Just rounded out my order with an additional Alps numpad and Mx compatibility set. Too reasonable not to get them.  :thumb:

Sorry this may already be covered, but if MOQ only reaches 100 for base set but not for num and mods, what happens? As I can't buy the base set without num and modifiers unfortunately.

Yup, and if charged after purchase and it does not hit MOQ, what happens?

But ofcourse, this is very unlikely. :D

Obviously that is worst case scenario and then a bunch of refunds will be going out but it's pretty unlikely

I really need the Alps kits to reach MOQ, otherwise I won't have a usable keycaps set for my KBP-60.

This is a photo of my desktop at work. This Lightcycle set will go on a KBP-60 that will replace the Pok3r on the left.

Apologies for the lack of novelty keys in the render. I whipped that render up in a couple of hours last night. I didn't have time to recreate the novelty shapes.

I'm sure thesiscamper can provide much better images, but hopefully that one gets the idea across in the mean time.

I think I was one of the first to order a full set. Does that mean I get the light cycle neon sign as well?

Damn your affection for blue is on point! Especially that SPH-Blue. Do you get it from Round 4?

That is indeed Round 4 SPH on my daily driver at work. I had to buy it used from a previous owner because I missed Round 4 (I didn't stumble upon mech boards until last summer).

I didn't realize until I fell in love with the Space Cadet keyset that I had such a strong love for all things blue. It led to me putting together the SA Dasher/Dancer group buy because I saw that there was a tragic paucity of sets with blue alphas.

Just out of curiosity, how come the novelties only appear on one 1.25u key each? The bottom row modifiers mirror each other (aside from FN/MENU), and so having 1.25u novelty keys in pairs is usually the norm.

To offer a wide variety of sizes with fewer keys

Maybe I should add a couple more

Well, if it's not too late to add them without changing the price, right?

Adding one each of the 1.25u Rectifier and Identity Disc keys would make the most sense.

Personally, I'd rather have a blue on black Tron-themed key set but this is tempting.  The more I look at this set, the more nostalgic I get.  Kudos, evangs.  zslane, it's interesting to know that I was a fan of your work before I knew I was a fan of your work.

Was just skimming through the artisan section and found these wrist rests,

How cool would that look with the LightCycle? God damn. I'm 100% going to buy one of them to go with the set, I just need to figure out if I want it to be sized for my MiniVan or WhiteFox.

...Guess I'll just get two. Fml.

Haha I should've known! Do they look good in real life? I've been browsing the person's work and he seems to be very professional, I tend to dislike those "glossy" looking wooden components but his are actually very classy looking still.

Do you remember what the turn around time is by any chance? I sent in a contact form but I guess I won't be receiving an answer today given the time.

Thanks yo, going to be placing an order as soon as I receive an answer from him/them then! Think I'll just get the two sizes I want, price is reasonable and it's gonna look too sick with the lightcycle.

That wrist rest looks slick. I just can't get into wooden wrist rests though. I need 'em to be soft and squishy otherwise my wrist bones get sore by the end of the day.

Do you know the rough timescales for shipment of the caps provided we hit MOQ?

I believe Evan mentioned it should take about 2 months; think it's somewhere in the order page on his website too.

PS: Found it, "NOTE: This is a pre-order meaning that once orders close on October 17th, 2016, the bulk order will be placed with Signature Plastics. Estimated production time is 6-8 weeks."

Yep, 6-8 weeks, shipping before Christmas is the goal. Also moq isn't anything to worry about. I'm buying remaining slots to reach moq so everything will be produced
