Model M Keyboards In The Workplace....
« on: Fri, 02 September 2016, 18:15:19 »
So, after seeing a listing on eBay for the GE Marquette Unicomp Model M keyboard on eBay (link below), I began to wonder what industries/businesses still use Model M keyboards. Obviously, they're used in the medical field occasionally for certain applications.

I'd imagine for a company like Unicomp to stay in business, some contracts with large businesses would be necessary?

So in what industries are Model M keyboards still used?

We still had some Model Ms a while ago connected to old dead terminals but that was about it. Haven't had any Ms or similar on any active terminals for years. Mass produced rubber dome boards are so much cheaper and easier for everyone to use.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I think that's a different Unicomp.

That one is based in Brentwood New York.

Well, guess I heard faulty info then. I just googled Unicomp government contract and came up with that. Not sure what that unicomp makes.

They apparently work with "Computer Storage Devices."

I wouldn't be surprised if the keyboard company Unicomp has had some sort of contract with the government in the past though.

There are a lot of companies that seek duplicate replacement or expansion items.
Michael Wolff says he urged Epstein to release information he had on Trump, but Epstein appeared worried about what Trump would do to him.
Epstein told him, “I may be a pervert, but I’m not crazy.” Epstein continued, "Trump is a man without any scruples.”
