Razer Blackwidow X: Standard bottom row and MX switches

I am impressed so far, Razer.

* Standard Bottom Row

* No more ugly gaymur font

* Not too gaudy

* $70 USD seems reasonable

Step up your game Corsair! If Razer can do a standard bottom row so can you.

84,99€ for me and only available in US layout (which is good for me, but means no retailer will sell it).

They also ask almost double for the Chroma version... If this wasn't so expensive I'd maybe even pick one up just to tinker with it, put in different switches, maybe make my own case, whatever. But at that price? If only CM boards were sold at normal retailers.

Why is the case so big? Feels bad. :(

It's actually just the crappy rendering, I was really suprised at how small it is irl compared to the pictures (an electronics store had the fullsize version in stock) on the page of the Chroma version you can see real pictures (http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blackwidow-x-tournament-edition-chroma).

I feel bad about defending Razer, but if they fix their QC and pricing those boards weren't that bad and a great mainstream alternative to Corsair.

"Ugly case" should be a feature. Decent price though, and standard bottom row/MX keys is good.

I have also heard some rumors that Razer has switched the OEM for their switches from Kailh to Greetech. Same company who makes the KBT switches on the MK Disco.
